Dutch Courses in Amsterdam - All levels
These Dutch courses are given three times a year and run for 10 to 12 weeks depending on the period of the year. There are five levels, from beginner to advanced. We also run classes in conversational Dutch and for examination training. Professional highly skilled native speakers facilitate your Dutch language learning. Business Dutch can also be organised in company for groups and individuals or at our centre.
Foundation courses - Levels 1, 2 & 3
Beginner Dutch courses are given by professional Dutch teachers. These courses aim to provide a thorough basic knowledge of the language. These levels introduce the language and all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. There is also a fast build-up of essential vocabulary. It is a relatively intensive programme which will enable students to communicate in everyday situations within a short period of time.
Intermediate courses - Levels 4 & 5
These courses are not merely an extension of the foundation course but are also of interest to those who have lived in the Netherlands for some time and find that their language is not developing beyond the level of simple everyday conversation. This course will allow you to expand your knowledge of the Dutch language.
Advanced course
This advanced course develops and perfects communicative competence and accuracy in Dutch. It concentrates on upgrading speaking and writing skills whilst at the same time fine-tuning grammatical structures and nuances of the Dutch language.
Dutch Fluency
This course aims to increase spoken communication skills. Participants practise the conventions of spoken speech whilst developing their vocabulary and idiom. There is a strong emphasis on activating students’ spoken conversation and providing feedback. Ideas and topics are current and relevant to our students' interests.
NT 2 Examination Programme II
This course prepares participants for the examination "Nederlands als Tweede Taal" from the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. All four skills - reading, writing, speaking and listening - are practised extensively with the exam format in mind. This course also aims to develop grammatical structures and broaden vocabulary & functional expressions.

Tata, AmsterdamI’ve done many language courses in my life. My teacher was the best teacher I’ve ever had. She knows how to handle pupils with different needs, how to get the more passive, silent pupils more involved and how to make the lessons fun.
