Types of Linguaskill

Linguaskill is an online modular test that evaluates all four language skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking, allowing you to choose the specific skills you want to assess. It comes in two options: Linguaskill General and Linguaskill Business, catering to different language needs based on your objectives.

Linguaskill General

Linguaskill General focuses on everyday language use, making it suitable for university admissions, job roles outside of the business domain, and situations where strong English skills are required but not specialized business terminology. It covers topics such as studying, work, future plans, travel, and technology, appealing to a wide range of organizations.

Linguaskill Business

On the other hand, Linguaskill Business assesses English used in a business and corporate context, making it ideal for recruitment in organizations where employees need familiarity with business language. It covers topics such as buying and selling, office environments, business travel, and human resources.

On-location or At-home

You have the flexibility to choose whether to take the Linguaskill test on location in Amsterdam or from the comfort of your home using remote proctoring. On-location tests are conducted under supervised conditions at the test center, while remote proctoring utilizes video, audio, and event logs to monitor the test taker during the exam. All you need for a proctored test is a computer system with a webcam, microphone/headphones, and a stable internet connection.

It's important to note that all Linguaskill tests are monitored for potential malpractice, which includes any attempts to breach test security or obtain fraudulent results. Engaging in fraudulent activity will result in a score of zero, and access to the test results will be denied. Additionally, videos of proctoring sessions are deleted after six months.
