The British Language Training Centre is a well established and highly regarded language institute that offers courses in both the English & Dutch language. The BLTC is also a test centre for the British Council’s IELTS examination and a Cambridge ESOL centre for CELTA .More than 3000 students take our courses and examinations annually.

Teacher Training Department

BLTC has been teacher training in schools and universities in the Netherlands for 25 years. Our classroom English programme in TTO schools has been a popular course for years, benefitting hundreds of teachers. New in our programme and now in demand is the Cambridge TKT CLIL course - Content and language integrated learning programme.

The Cambridge ESOL CELTA qualification course has been running
since 1997 with very successful outcomes for its trainees, many of whom have gone on to rewarding careers in teaching adults.

Many of our trainers are specialists in Cambridge examinations courses and as such we are called on more and more to train
teachers in how to organise and teach the mainsuite examinations (FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC) in their schools and organisations.

Our team of teacher trainers are hand picked, not only for their experience but also for their insight and personal skills.
