The International Legal English Preparation Course is designed for law students or practising lawyers who wish to enhance their English for employment in an international commercial law context. The course also prepares individuals for the Cambridge ILEC examination in all four skills; speaking, listening, reading and writing.

The ILEC examination is administered by the British Council in Amsterdam. The certificate can be used as proof of ability to operate in English in international law firms.
Examination dates in 2010:
15 May (registration 1 March – 2 April)
13 November (registration 1 August - 1 October)
Examination Fee: 245 euros
Tuition: 25 contact hours in total - 10 weeks, 1 session of 2.5 hours per week,
homework input 25 hours.
Cost: € 475,- per participant, excluding books.
Number of participants per group: 7 - 10
Minimum level of English required for course: B 2 / C1 user on CEF.
