Cambridge International Certificate in Financial English Course
The preparation course for the Cambridge International Certificate in Financial English (B2/C1) is designed for aspiring finance professionals who need to acquire excellent specialist English language
skills. Participants on the course will include:
- Practicing finance and accountancy professionals who wish to demonstrate to existing or potential employers their ability to communicate effectively at an international level.
- Finance and accountancy students who wish to improve their potential in a competitive job market by validating their skills in English.
- Candidates preparing for the Cambridge International Certificate in Financial English (IFCE) examination.
Aims of the course:
- To encourage active engagement with a substantial range of financial texts in English including textbooks, journals, web pages, company reports and correspondence.
- To improve ability to read and understand financial texts in English at speed.
- To improve ability to produce quality written text in English for the purpose of informing and advising international clients.
- To enhance listening and spoken fluency skills in contexts such as presentations, briefings and consultations.
- To raise the level of accuracy in spoken language.
- To extend knowledge and use of a broad range of financial vocabulary.
- To familiarize participants with IFCE examination tasks and format.
