At the BLTC we have made the English and Dutch language our business. As such we are recognized both in Britain and the Netherlands as a highly-skilled organization providing language and skills training, testing and consultancy for people in business, education and research. We realize the necessity of offering our clients a full range of integrated services to meet their varied and changing needs.

A full range of training programmes

Flexibility is all-important, both in the style of training and in understanding the speed of learning. To cover the most requested needs for English and Dutch language training, we have developed more than 20 integrated levels of courses which run at our 'Day and Evening School' in Amsterdam and in companies. These courses range from English and Dutch at beginner's level to Cambridge Examination courses and advanced levels.

The BLTC's reputation is built on specialized Business programmes, for instance in the fields of law, accountancy, taxation & finance, I.T. and telecommunications. Companies and individuals can also decide which skills emphasis they need: fluency, writing, meetings, presentations, or skills programmes tailor-made to their own profession.

Teachers can benefit from our teacher training programmes and workshops. We offer a preparation course for CELTA. This Cambridge certificate is the most widely recognized qualification for those wishing to follow a career in TEFL, and it provides a solid foundation on which a teacher can build.

Quality

To ensure quality of training, the BLTC team is made up of fully-qualified, native-speaker trainers who are experts in their field. They are flexible, client-oriented and, above all, professional. Many of our trainers are certified Cambridge and IELTS examiners.

English language testing systems

The BLTC is the 'Netherlands Test Centre' for IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, established by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Centres, the British Council and IDP Australia.

The BLTC provides courses that prepare you for a number of Cambridge examinations. This full range of testing systems guarantees that the English language taught, tested, and used by our clients is truly international, of high quality and extremely practical.
